Musicians take notice!!!!! Meijer, the Michigain-based grocery chain is selling home grown music in its 176 superstores.
Through their new program called "Outside the Mainstream," Meijers is selling chainwide, previously recorded CDs by unsigned singers, groups or musicians.
A new performer is chosen each month. The CDs will cost $7.49 each and will be featured in Meijer's weekly advertisements that go to more than 7 million homes in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio.
To have your music considered, mail a copy of your CD to:

The package should include a brief biography and contact information. CDs can be in any music genre but can't have a parental-advisory notification.
The performer or group must be based in a city where Meijer has a store and must have amateur status.
